Osmo Top-Oil Rapid is ideal for protecting furniture surfaces made of solid wood, edged-glued panels, chipboards and medium density fibreboard (MDF) e.g. dining tables, drawers, desks, shelves, etc) in the interior. Also, general interior joinery, e.g, crafts, picture frames, children’s toys, chopping boards.

NUMBER OF COATS
Two coats on raw wood; for renovations, normally one coat on the clean surface is sufficient – without sanding!
Finished surface in 1 day, 2 coats
- First coat on the raw, sanded wood approx. 35-45 ml/m².
- Mistakes in the wet coating can be corrected up to 15 minutes after the first application.
- Drying time approx. 4-5 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23 °C/50 % rel. humidity). Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity can increase drying time. Allow for good ventilation.
- If desired, the dried finish can be smoothened with fine grain sandpaper (P400) or with a scouring pad before applying the second coat.
- Second coat approx. 35-45 ml/m².
- Drying time approx. 4-5 hours; see point 3.
